Custom wedding fragrance and bonbonnierre: Kim and Tim's Wedding
Necessity is the mother of invention. When my good friend was getting married and wanted to find the perfect scent for the day, I offered to find it for her. From there, grew one of the newest additions to the offering of Pretty Frank: Custom-made fragrance and favours for your wedding day.
The bride, who is affectionately known to some as “Hurricane Kim”, and the groom, Tim, chose to be married at Seacliff House, a luxury private property wedding venue located 2 hours from Sydney on the South Coast of NSW.
The brief for suppliers was “colour bomb with gold accents” and it was certainly delivered.
Arrangements featuring huge peonies, draping orchids and feminine roses were scattered around the glamorous property.
Modern furniture with gold details provided guests with the opportunity to relax in the sun.
Fragrance and light were spread over the property via hand-poured soy wax candles in clear glassware.
The fragrance created for Kim and Tim featured beautiful base notes of musk and rose petals. The middles notes of delicate clove and bright blackcurrant weave with top notes of lemon peel and springy fir needle.
It’s a light and sophisticated scent, truly at home at this fabulous venue with delicate and thoughtful touches of glamour.
Guests found their seats inside the marquee by spotting a candle with their name on it. The candle also doubles as favours for the guests which they can light at home to be reminded of Kim and Tim’s spectacular day.
Guests enjoyed a relaxed afternoon and a fun evening. Food was plentiful and drinks flowed, as laughter was shared between friends and family alike.
The day was captured beautifully by the charming Mathew of The Evoke Company.
Bright, spring florals and warm candles adorn the tables to highlight the spectacular gold touches.
The fragrance and candles light up this delightful table as guests share snaps and messages for the happy couple to remember their day. Cards and gifts are left in the wishing well, a tasteful glass box with gold detail.
Guests took home candles with the couple’s unique fragrance and I’ve been thrilled to receive messages from guests to say thank you and that they’re loving lighting their candle at home and reliving the day again.
